Speedo was started by Scotsman Alexander McRae after he emigrated to Australia in 1910. His first success was providing socks for Australian soldiers in WWI but since the company moved into swimwear in 1928 theyve helped athletes win countless Olympic gold medals and led the way in developing new styles and manufacturing techniques.
