Intelligent Resolution Technology, incorporated in the Venus Engine HD II, determines the subject's contours and colour edges, emphasizing them during image processing to ensure you capture all the details in beautifully stunning detail.

The Panasonic Lumix FZ48's powerful 24x optical zoom can increase its power to 32x equivalent with the Intelligent Zoom function. You can also shoot fantastic 3D photos and use the HDMI port to view them on your 3D TV.

Panasonic's Intelligent Auto mode includes Optical Image Stabilization helping to eliminate hand shake, even in high-motion action and low light. Intelligent Auto mode is also available in movie recording mode, automatically selecting the most suitable Scene mode and helping to correct handshake, focus and brightness problems.
