The fashion label, Kenneth Cole, started life in a Manhattan parking lot. Cole wanted to launch a shoe collection but when he discovered that it would be too expensive to hire a space at a New York trade show, he borrowed a truck and showcased his new line from a nearby parking space. The deal was that he had to be seen to be shooting a movie in order to get the right permit. And his plan worked when he sold 40,000 pairs of shoes in just two and a half days. Since then the company has developed mens and womens fashion ranges and our Kenneth Cole brand store reflects the stylish accessories and fragrances which are now an essential part of the labels sophisticated lifestyle identity.
