  • It's death or glory with Call Of Duty: Black Ops

    Call Of Duty: Black Ops thrusts you into the murky world of Cold War covert operations, where you must kill, maim, destroy and blow up anything within reach and get out quickly before you have to take the blame.

    The epic single player mode is constant thrills as you take on the role of an elite special forces soldier engaged in dirty tricks, deniable operations, close combat and explosive conflicts around the globe.

    This is in the seventh instalment of the Call Of Duty franchise but developers Treyarch have managed to up the adrenalin factor even further with this gritty, bloody and compelling first-person shooter.

    New features include CoD Points that can be used to buy weapons and equipment regardless of your rank.

    The already legendary multiplayer section gets a host of new modes, including the Gun Game, where you start with a basic pistol and upgrade with every kill, and One in the Chamber, in which you start with one bullet and get one more for each kill - so don't waste them!

    The new Combat Training section is also designed to help newcomers familiarise themselves with the online options, letting you get up to speed before you hit the web.

    Featuring a deep and immersive story line, players are sure to be sucked into Farcry 3 and the story of a man fighting to keep his head above water, surrounded by gang war and the harsh wilderness.

    Farcry 3 takes place in a huge open world in which the player can use the natural environment to their own advantage – open tiger cages, sneak through shadows or blow up enemy vehicles from a distance – in Farcry3, there are tons of ways to complete each mission.
