Falcon needs little introduction, with a heritage stretching back to 1930. Through 80 years of innovation and design, Falcon has maintained its British roots and stands true to its foundations today. The Falcon Explorer is the ideal bike for anyone looking to ride regularly on roads, paths, tow-paths and maintained trails. Ideal as a commuter or leisure bike, the mudguards are made from a sturdy, yet flexible plastic meaning that they are more resistant than metal mudguards if bent or knocked. The Explorer has a 26 inch tyre, so is nippy and agile and easier to transport than larger wheeled bikes, whilst the alloy wheel rims provide a lightweight yet sturdy construction. The Falcon Explorer is ideally suited to riding on smoother trails and therefore is fitted with a super efficient trekking tyre. The wide tyre provides great grip on the riding surface, whilst the snake-skin surface is smoother rolling for a comfortable ride. Powered by Shimano, 6 gears keep the bike lightweight and easy to use and have been designed to provide a wide ratio of gears to enable you to tackle most terrains. Front and rear V-brakes provide sturdy stopping power whilst comfort grips are soft on the hands. The quill stem provides great adjustment for the handlebar height, whilst a long seat post and rail adjusters allow precise refinement of the seating position. Suitable for age 12+ years, inside leg measurement of 29-35 inch. Please note that this bicycle is part assembled on delivery and therefore you will be required to fit certain parts and make setup adjustments to components such as the gears and brakes prior to use and also on an ongoing basis for maintenance purposes.FALCON helpline: 0121 748 8000.
