Electric showers

Save £££s on utility bills: A shower uses up to 6 times less water than a bath run off the mains cold water supply. It heats the water as it flows through the shower giving instant hot water. The higher the kW of the shower, the quicker it heats the water, and therefore the higher the flow rate. Highter kW showers may need new wiring.

Mixer showers

Run off the household cold and hot water supplies. As the water is already heated, all the mixer shower has to do is mix the water together thermostatically to give the perfect water temperature. Mixer showers often give a superior flow rate.

IMPORTANT: Not all showers run on all water systems. Electric run on cold main feed and mixer showers on tank-fed hot/cold or combi boilers.
